Before your appointment

  • 24 hours before your appointment, shower exfoliate, shave and hydrate your skin with a good moisturizer!

    • *Please note, dry skin does not respond as well as hydrated skin. One application will not fix dry skin, so you should be using a good lotion and drinking plenty of water for several days up to seeing me.

  • Don’t wear makeup, lotion, perfume deodorant; you want your skin as "fresh" as possible.

  • Your first rinse, 8 hours after your spray, will be just a rinse. No soap! Until you do rinse, don't get it wet, put on lotion or sweat.

  • Wear something loose and dark afterwards. Preferably, no bra or a loose one without underwire to prevent rubbing.

  • Women can wear as much or as little as wanted, just remember that whatever does not get sprayed will not tan. Men are required to wear an undergarment. I advise you wear a dark color just in case the solution does not fully wash out of your clothing.

*While everyones skin is different and spraying tanning is not a one size fits all, remember that there may be a little trial and error to work the best for you! There are several factors that can contribute to the outcome.*

After your tan

  • Do not get wet or sweat for 8 hours after your appointment, unless a rapid formula is used.

  • A standard solution rinse is 8-10 hours, rapid will be 2-4 hours.

  • Your first rinse, you will not use any soap on your body or in your hair.

  • Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and using a good lotion or tan extender lotion. Avoid products containing alcohol, mineral oil, sulfates, parabens or petroleum.

  • Do not exfoliate more than you need, as this will strip your tan quicker.

  • Please remember a spray tan WILL NOT protect your skin from the sun and sunscreen is still needed.

  • It is recommended to avoid hot tubs, prolonged periods of time in the water and rinse off after being in a chlorine pool as this will also strip your tan quicker.

  • Do not spray perfume directly on your skin; it will cause spotting.

  • Be cautious of touching your body after you've been sprayed! The solution can rub off onto your hands and fingers.
